Validation in Testing Laboratories

Validation is the confirmation by examination and the provision of objective evidence that a test method is fit for purpose. Most test laboratories struggle with this concept: where to start?, when is a method fit for use?, how to demonstrate this to the own organisation and the external assessors?

Most validation studies start somewhere without any purpose or structure until performance characteristics are ’good’.

In this course participants learn to formulate clear goals and to apply them in a step by step validation process.
